This class is geared to individuals of all ages looking to craft their skills in Haitian Folkloric dance. The class is presented in a noncompetitive environment with mixed levels. The season starts in September and ends in June. Classes are available for registration on Eventbrite.

Meet the Team
Executive Founding Director
Ms. Weiselande "Yanui" Cesar is an educator, mother, dancer/choreographer and author of three self published books. She holds the following degrees from Barry University: Barchelors of Art in Theater, Master's of Science in Exceptional Student Education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership.
Program Coordinator
Ms. Myriame Pierre is a free lance photographer and is an employee of Miami Dade County Public Schools. Miss Pierre holds a Barchelors of Science in Psychology. She currently serves as the Site Coordinator for Easter Seals at Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Miss Pierre is TLL program coordinator for the Spring Fest program.
Artistic Co-Director
Ms. Chipo Chemoyo is a scientist in the field of immunology. She has co-written several books. She is mother, dancef and the co founder of a Miami based African arts and culture organization. She facilitates the rites of passage segment of our programs and also conducts the body conditioning portion of the Haitian Folkloric Dance classes.

Ajala Laguerre has been with the organization since the launched of Summer Intensive Institute. He was a volunteer student engaging in community service. Eventually he started teaching Art Anime to group 1 (K - 2nd grades), and is currently our Youth Engagement Liaison.

Tradisyon Lakou Lakay, Inc. is organized to uplift children, youth and adults through arts and cultural programs. Instilling in youth a sense of self-worth propelling them to become upstanding global citizens. TLL aims to leverage Haitian performance art.

TLL's first cultural program entitled Winter Fest was launched in 2004. The activities held included dance, drumming, literature and an academic segment. Affairs Grant and Florida Department of Cultural Affairs.
The two seasonal programs are for children and youth ages 6 to 16. TLL, Inc. Spring Fest is a one-week program. Summer Intensive Institute (Sii) is a four week program. Sii focuses on self-advocacy for youth while fostering leadership skills and communication skills through arts education. Sii was launched Summer 2013 at Litltle Haiti Cultural Complex (LHCC).
The organization is founded on the belief that everyone has hidden talents which at times
need to be activated and unveiled. TLL, Inc. makes it possible by proppelling children to tap into their inner selves and embrace their creative sides . We are all intelligent individuals and have something to offer to our communities and the world we live in. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs.

TLL programs are conducted by passionate, ethical and skilled professionals who deliver instructions using research based techniques, such as participatory photography, mindfulness and growth mindset. Since its inception in 2001, TLL serviced over 3,000 children and youth through camp programs. Since 2014 through our Haitian Heritage M
TLL programs are conducted by passionate, ethical and skilled professionals who deliver instructions using research based techniques, such as participatory photography, mindfulness and growth mindset. Since its inception in 2001, TLL serviced over 3,000 children and youth through camp programs. Since 2014 through our Haitian Heritage Month Celebrations, we engaged 5,000 students at various Miami Dade schools in Cultural presentations. Beginning in 2013, through TLL Concert Series and the Haitian Folklore Dance LAB, over 1,500 adults have been enlightened with live musical bands, drumming, dance and spoken words.

TLL Youth Engagement Study Circle: Virtual Series
TLL Youth Engagement Study Circle is a component of the organization's Summer Intensive Institute (Sii). TLL, Inc. recognized the need for adolescents youth and young adults, ages 12-22, to have a safe place to engage in meaningful conversations. Topics range from self perception, to peer pressure, social emotional intelligence and every thing else in between. TLL YES-C is a platform that allowing youth a voice for self expression and to articulate their needs in a healthy way.
